FAQ

How many years have you been working as a newborn photographer?
I have been in business since 2016 and I have photographed over 1000 newborns.

Have you received any newborn specific posing training and with whom did you train?
I have had training through various online courses as well as in person workshops, I have also completed and passed the safety training through APNPI.

​

What are the safety practices you have in place in your studio specifically geared towards the newborn client?
A clean environment, washing linens in a baby sensitive detergent, frequent hand washing, use of a spotter, weighted props, rescheduling upon signs of illness.

​

Will my newborn be supported by human hands in all upright positions as well as any poses requiring suspension?
Yes! I only do these poses with a parent assistant and babies are always properly supported. 

​

What will happen in the case of illness, your own or otherwise?
I reschedule.

What camera do you use?

I mostly use a Nikon D750, I have 2 of these I also have a back up back up camera, my D7200 with various lenses, 50mm, 135mm, 28-75mm (I have 2 of these). I also have a D3200 that my kids use! 

What happens after our session?

After your session you will receive a link to a gallery with a password to make your images selections. Once you make your selections your images will be made available through digital download. Prints and products will be available for pick up 2-4 weeks after ordering, and can be shipped to you for a small fee. 
 

What should I wear to my session?

It depends on your style and the type of session but I have some tips here!

Will there be watermarks on my final images?

No, I only watermark proofs or images I post online.

How long is your turn around time?

Galleries will be ready within 3 business days of your session date, edited images will be ready within 3 business days of your image selections.

* Non-refundable booking retainer  is required to secure date, session must paid in full at time of session via cash or email transfer, travel fees may apply if more than 20 minute drive, all permits/entry fees to be paid by client.​

Photos will be made available through digital download, if you would like a disc or usb there are additional charges.
